How does PRP encourage hair growth?

PRP is injected into the scalp which has been shown to trigger natural hair growth. This is due to an increased blood supply to the hair follicle helping to increase the thickness of the hair shaft.

For more severe cases of hair loss, Incubated PRP (Advance PRP) is recommended. This creates a more concentrated treatment and is rich in growth factors.

What are treatments like?

Injections are quick lasting only 15-20 minutes and are relatively painless. There may be some mild tenderness of the scalp which typically dissipates in 1-3 days. Since PRP is made from the client’s own cells, there is virtually no risk of side effects.

What about results?

Results typically begin to show 3-4 weeks after treatment and continue to improve over time. For best results, three treatments are generally recommended, spaced about 1-2 months apart.
